• SUPER HYDROPHOBIC CLEAN COATING: The Nanoperl-S layer smooths the microstructure of the surface of the lens. Water and dirt simply bead off the super-hydrophobic and oleophobic layer.
• ANTI-STATIC EFFECT: Static charge is reduced by a factor of 10 compared to that of a conventional anti-reflective coating — this protects against dust and fluff.
• BROADBAND ANTI-REFLECTION COATING: The broadband anti-reflective coating minimizes distracting reflections on the lens. The anti-reflective coatings differ in their residual reflection color and their respective additional function.
• HARD COAT GHnc: The hardelastic coating with nanocomposite technology is a tried-and-tested, extremely robust hard coat for excellent durability. The feature's high quality is tested continuously via impact tests.

The lens

• undergoes several dipping processes in specially developed acids and bases for environmentally friendly cleaning and coating (GHnc)
• has its formulation matched to the material used

• gets wafer-thin layers applied to it in a complex process carried out in a vacuum. Oxides are heated up to 4000°C.

• receives a super-hydrophobic finish to make it dirt-repellent and anti-static, and water just beads off it
• is monitored and checked by employees through every step
